A while ago I mentioned I was doing someone a website on the subject of
the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. Well, that person is Richard Turner-Thomas,
who was Clerk of Works on the restoration which took place over the
winter of 2003/2004, and his book is just about published. It's got the
full story of the restoration, and the odd things that happened during
that winter, along with masses of colour photos. It can be ordered
on-line at <http://www.pontcysyllte.co.uk>.

I think I've been too long on my own, but the little green goblin that
lives under the sink says I'm OK - and he's never wrong, so I must be!

Can you e-mail me (use Reply To on this post) and tell me why you
couldn't order on-line? Quite a number of people have successfully done
so, and I would like to know what kind of glitch you might have
experienced.

Weird. The page is /buybook.html, and that's what the links says.

price and Supplier Please
UKP10 in the UK, UKP13 outside the UK. E-mail
***@pontcysyllte.co.uk (but do please try the link again,
because then you can pay by Paypal rather than having to send a cheque).
